Season Opening BBQ and First Training Session

This Saturday night, Feb 25th, at 6pm, the Baton Rouge Tigers want to invite YOU, Yes,… ALL OF YOU !!! to the Aussie Rules Footy season  kick off BBQ at Taylor’s “Flea” house.  The team will supply food, beer, and soda. Anything else–you’re on your own 🙂

We’ll be hanging out and showing a full professional game to help explain the rules to the new guys and discuss whats coming up in 2012. This is the perfect time to come along and see what this awesome sport has to offer you in the way of fitness, fun, new friends and some fantastic and hilarious memories from our home and away game season. Current members, this is when you need to bring the friends you’ve been talking to in the off-season. Everyone else, new or old, Aussie or not, that wants to know even just a bit more about this great sport and great team, come along and check us out. Again Everyone is welcome and there is No Experience needed, we’ll teach you everything you need to know

And, … just in case you can’t make it Saturday night, shoot us an email at BatonRougeTigers@gmail.com and you’d be welcome to join us at any point throughout the season, Though getting the full experience from the start is definitely the best!!!

Then, on Sunday afternoon at 1pm, we’ll have our first training session of the season to work off that beer and BBQ and put you in touch with that developing “Aussie Rules Star” that’s hidden inside you. See you there at the Westdale Middle School field from 1-3 pm off of Sth Foster between Webb Pk Golf Course and Government St.. Bring your cleats and mouth guard and lets start developing that fitness and those skills.
